At Memorability®, our goal is to help you develop core brain skills that will help you to cope, heal, and to thrive. Calm is a core brain skill allowing you to think better, feel better, love better, and is essential for finding silver linings. Mindfulness & Beyond with Dr. Kirti Ranchod, is designed to help you with practical tools supported by neuroscience.
This is an outline of the course where you will develop the habit of finding calm, every day. There are guided experiences. The science and health benefits of these experiences are explained in the Neuroscience Capsules. Select activities to practice, explore or develop further for your toolkit.
Course Outline
Part 1: Everyday relaxation
Experience two relaxations techniques including a guided practical relaxation technique & a visualisation exercise. The neuroscience of meditation will complement the guided activities.
Part 2: Beautiful Words
An additional mindfulness technique to explore.
Part 3: Nature & Nurture
Nature-based, immersive activities to help you to feel calm. The health benefits of spending time in nature will be explained.
Part 4: Cultural Capital for Calm
What do you have within your culture, tradition, community or from one that inspires you.
Part 5: Reflect, repeat, procrastinate
Time to think about what works, practice a technique we enjoyed or perhaps just procrastinate.
Part 6: The Essentials
Key point summary that works as a quick reference guide for the essentials.
Part 7: Finding Inspiration
Finding inspiration to support your mindfulness habit.
Part 8: Sharing Wisdom & Creating Community
